Both are keen motorbike enthusiasts and thrive on developing the female motorbike clothing industry and working with manufacturers to increase the range of clothing available in style, colour and size. Clare enjoys both road and track riding.
The franchise network is supported by David Germaine – Franchise Director. A proven senior manager, with wide ranging experience, David manages the network and guides the franchisees as they develop their business. David works closely with Clare and Julie and together as a management support team they focus on the success of GirlsBike2 franchisees.
The concept for GirlsBike2 was developed in response to the frustrations experienced by women when sourcing motorcycle clothing which could only be found in male dominated retail outlets where the range is extremely limited. Although some existing websites focus on the female market, with an internet only service they have a poor product range and no retail outlet where women could try on clothing which is generally of high average value and for which getting a good fit is essential. Research undertaken by GirlsBike2 throughout the UK confirmed the demand for women’s motorcycle clothing and accessories. There was a gap in the market for a professional organisation offering women a dedicated source for motorbike wear with a proposition based on quality, choice and also fashion. GirlsBike2 was created to fill this market gap.
